Red Tonic – Non-Alcoholic Cocktail (Vegan)

I love mixing fresh herbs and fruits.

Ingredients
(per glass)

  • 1/4 cup 100% cranberry juice (unsweetened, full-strength)
  • 2 key limes
  • 1/2 orange
  • tip of 1 fresh rosemary stalk, washed
  • optional: simple syrup (to make, mix sugar and water until sugar is dissolved)

1) Juice the fruits into the glass. If they’re a little sour, add a teaspoon of simple syrup.

2) Add the cranberry juice. Fill remainder of glass with water.

3) Rub the rosemary between your fingers to release the oils and break into individual leaves. Drop into glass so they float and fill remaining glass space with the aroma of rosemary.

4) Add ice, if you like. This will water the drink down. For a dramatic cocktail, freeze the cranberry juice ahead of time and float frozen cranberry cubes in your citrus/water/rosemary mixture.
